O' The Places She'll Go

My sweet Val is off to school. Man it was tough to see her leave. It's a bittersweet thing. I know this is the best possible thing she could ever do, but the selfish side of me that loves her like my own kid, will miss her desperately and wants her here with me. She has been a constant in our lives. She has been here to help celebrate the good times and grieved with us through the hard times. She has been a second Mommy to my babies and they adore her. Todd and I absolutely think she is one of the most wonderful people ever.
Again, while I'm sad she's gone, I'm excited for her new adventures and the fact that the world gets to experience her wonderfulness. I love you babe!

Isn't She Lovely & Val's Graduation

Sara is 8 months old today. Time is flying by. She's crawling and trying to pull herself up. She's clapping and eating solids. What a big girl.
Val has graduated. YAY!!!! Good job Val. We had a big party for her at our house. Todd's sister's son Chad had promised Val a cheese sandwich for graduation and he delivered it during the ceremony. He's a big kid. We love him though. There were lots of gifts, food, fun and happiness. Val plans on going to college at BYU Idaho in the fall. We are so proud of our sweet Valerie. Love ya!

Just Creepin' Along

Sara Bear is officially crawling. She started really 'getting it' on Tuesday. She still does a little bit of a monkey crawl. But she's moving one knee at a time. She has also recently discovered that she can pick up the tiniest thing off the floor. She has the pincher motion down really well for being so young. So we have to keep a very close eye on her because not only is she everywhere but she can pick up almost everything. She is also sleeping a little longer at night, and mimicking sounds that you make. I'm telling you, she's a genius. (She's my Baby) So Sara is getting bigger and learning more
new and fun things everyday. I am so excited to see her achieve these things, yet so sad because the baby year never lasts long enough.
Yesterday (Friday) I took Valerie (my niece) to Park City to get her wisdom teeth out. She was a trooper. Right now her cheeks are swollen and she can only eat yogert and ice cram, but soon those chipmunk cheeks will be back to normal, she will be able to talk and sound like herself again.
