Building the Fence

After 3 summers of trying to build a fence... It's almost DONE... YAY!!! It's been a long process. The first summer we got the lumber, Todd's Dad and sister were in poor health. And we were helping with shuffling them to and from Dr. visits most of the summer. Not to mention that I was 100 months pregnant with
Sara. Last summer, I thought it would be fun to get the kids a big ol' gym set with the kids' portion of the stimulus package that our government provided. Well, it turned out to be a pretty big job. But Todd completed it by the end of summer. Soooo...
This summer, Todd and Spencer have almost finished the back fence. It looks soooo good. Hopefully in the next few days off, they can get it completely finished
and we can get it stained and beautiful by the time summer is over. I think next summer we are going to concentrate on getting the grass beautiful and I will channel my Nana and some of her green thumb and we can get flowers growing. Lily and I have visions of having beautiful flower beds :)

Booty Shakin' at the Relay for Life

That's Miss Lil'. Forth one :) Ok. This year The Covington School of Dance was able to perform at the Relay for Life. All the girls in all the classes were able to shake their booties and show off their incrediable dance skills :) To cute.
Lily got up there and just did her thing. Dancing and shakin' what her Mama gave her. She always makes me smile when she is dancing. She looks like she is going to knock someone out when she does the little knocking thing. So stinkin' cute. She just adorable I think.
I have noticed that she doesn't do any of the moves half assed and she seems to have a real talent in the booty shakin' department.
I hope she continues to enjoy dancing and she keeps doing the classes and competitions. I love to see her doing something she is so obviously good at and enjoys. And I sure do love being her stage Mommy.

Visit with Jared

So, my youngest brother headed up to Wyoming for a visit. He also wanted to introduce us to his new girlfriend Angie. I hadn't see Jared in almost a year, so it was great to see his shining face.
While he was here. I called my brothers John and Joey to see if they wanted to come over for dinner. As you can see, Joey made it along with his girlfriend and her kiddo's. John couldn't make it. He had to work, but his wife Lacey and their kiddo's made it. We REALLY missed John. He's the entertainment :) We kept thinking about what he would be saying in certain situations and giggling. Anyway, it was fun to sit around and talk and catch up. The kids had a great time seeing their
uncles and just playing together. I have to tell you really quick that my nephew Quintin usually tries to be somewhat of a bad ass, but when it comes to little one's he seems soft and mushy. Kind of like his Daddy. It was to cute to see him playing with Sara and making sure she wasn't falling off of anything. And Adam was also helping, but making sure the roof to the play house wasn't falling apart. Obviously, it was secure :) As was the top of the slide. Adam and
Savanna were helping Sara slide down the slide. Quintin was at the bottom waiting for her to come down. I was just to sweet. Anyway, the visit was fun. It was nice to see Jared. He seems happy and grossly in love :)

A True Blood Addiction

That's right, I said it, I'm addicted :)I can't help it. The HBO series and the books. Anything dealing with True Blood, I love. IT's gotten pretty bad too. I rented all the bookes from the library and average at least one every two days. I think I have a crush on a fictional vampire...mmmm mmm good :) I never thought I'd be the kind of girl that loved Vampire novels, but I am officially hooked.
