My Little Slugger

So, my sweet little Adam wanted to join baseball. He is old enough to be in 'pitching' machine this year. And he's not doing to bad.
All those that know my sweet little man, know that he isn't the most... um..... fastest boy ever. He tends to have his head in the clouds, imagining the next picture to draw, song to make up or game to invent. But he's doing ok at baseball. He's trying so hard. Batting, catching and throwing. And he still manages to be silly through all of it. His coaches this year are Doug and Janey Rees again. They had Spencer last year and Adam the year before for tee ball. They do such a great job with the kiddo's. Doug is always so patient with our little man. Showing him nicely when he has not thrown the ball right or was swinging the bat a little to early for the ball that was just pitched. They are just great with the kids.
This is a picture of my little man swinging just a little to early for the ball. He was reaching for it as you can see. He's so cute. I just had to put this picture in. As you can see, Adam 'shuffled' all the way out to
center field. ALL THE WAY! Todd and I were cracking up. Classic Adam. O' and Janice (our niece) and Arlene got to come see this game. Adam was so excited to have them there. So, anyway, this is going to be a fun baseball season. Hopefully Doug and Janey can light a match under his booty and make him a little bit more of a go getter, but I'm not holding my breath. But then again, I think Adam is great, just the way he is. Head in the clouds, shuffling to center field and all.
